Project Complete: April 23, 2009

Information

Inspired by and directly referencing Yashima Gakutei’s “Carp Swimming up Waterfall”, this poster encourages the viewer to conserve water. The title of the poster, translated as “Let us together conserve water!”, lists out three different ways (Not wastefully using water, taking a shower over extensive baths, and re-using PET water bottles) for the Japanese viewer to conserve water. The poster was created entirely in hand-penned vector artwork, allowing the image to be scaled up or down on any print media.
